A Prescription for Joy: Overcome Worry With Five Steps
Millions of people suffer from worry and anxiety, and the majority of those people are women. Worry and anxiety steal your joy, make you feel isolated and afraid, and leave you feeling restless and tense.
Although worry is a normal feeling, worry can become excessive. It creeps into your heart and mind and causes you to dwell on the bad things that might happen. In this book, "A Prescription for Joy," Dr. Joy Greene provides five steps you can begin using today to overcome worry.
Dr. Joy earned her doctorate degree in pharmacy. She uses her medical knowledge, her Biblical knowledge, and her own personal experiences to share how she broke free from the chains of worry.
If you are sick and tired of worrying too much, be encouraged - there is a way out of the darkness you feel. Join Dr. Joy on this life journey to freedom and joy! With God's help, you can overcome worry and get your life back!
I grew up on a farm and my sister and I had childhoods full of four-wheeling, catching lightning bugs in old mason jars, and running outside barefoot until our feet were black with dirt!
I grew up going to a small Baptist church. I can remember from a very young age, praying to God and believing in Jesus with all my heart. It was at the age of 9 that I gave my life to Him.
I met my husband (Bryan) when I was 14 years old and knew I would marry him. We have two children and we live on a small farm in North Carolina. I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and I teach pharmacy students.
One of the greatest joys in my life is having the opportunity to encourage women in their faith journey through Joytime Ministries. Whether it is through radio, social media, or an in-person event, I have a passion to meet women right where they are in life and bring them encouragement. I believe a little encouragement goes a long way!
I love Jesus and I thank Him for saving me. I love His Word and I seek to know it more fully and deeply. I hope you are blessed by stopping by my website!
