Celebrating 4 Years of Fruit of the Vine

Happy Friday lovelies! I hope you're having a fabulous day. This week has been a busy one for the Fruit of the Vine ladies. We've been in full celebration preparation mode this week because... Fruit of the Vine Boutique is turning 4!! July 31 marks 4 years of fulfilling our mission to inspire and empower women to bear fruit for Christ by helping them see their beauty! All of the birthday event planning has us feeling a bit nostalgic, and we've been reflecting on all the good times these past four years have brought us. God has been so faithful! We have made so many special relationships and have been blessed by so many wonderful opportunities. That is largely due to YOU, our amazing Vine Shoppers! Your support, loyalty, and prayers mean the world to us! As we gear up to celebrate our fourth year, let's take a walk down memory lane and recap some of our favorite moments.
Fruit of the Vine has seen many changes in the last 4 years. From a location change to interior updates to new vendors and products, there has been so much growth! Through all of that change, we have been privileged to host many events in the time we've been open. Fashion shows, flower arrangement classes, charcuterie board classes, fairy hair, and Bible studies, to name a few. Keeping with the theme and in celebration of our birthday, we'll a Bible Journal Painting Class with Bloom and Brush Creative Cottage right here in the shop on Monday evening at 5:30! If you haven't already, you can head over to our events page to sign up. The cost is $35 per person. Materials will be provided!
We always love connecting with the community through local events. The Brushy Mountain Apple Festival is an annual event that we love being a part of. Getting to see so many new faces while representing our little community AND representing Jesus is an honor and it is always a fun time! In 2022, we had the opportunity to be a part of North Wilkesboro's first ever Spooktacular! Our ladies enjoyed dressing up and seeing all the fun and creative costumes that our customers came in with. It was such a success and we look forward to participating in the future. This past May, we had the honor of hosting the 2023 NASCAR All Star Race which brought nearly 250,000 people to our town. We loved meeting race fans from all over the country and launching a collection of race-day essentials in honor of the big race! We hope there will be many more races to come!
In 2022, we had our first ever Fairy Hair Party with Finklepott's Original Fairy Hair and our customers have LOVED it ever since. Now our fairy flies in every month to work her fairy magic on the hair of clients young and old, leaving them absolutely sparkling! All of our Fruit of the Vine ladies have fairy hair and we always get asked about it when we're out and about. Finklepott's Fairy Hair stands above the rest because it lasts, withstanding washing, drying, styling, and coloring, and it is biodegradable. Fairy hair makes everyone feel special and it adds some fun to your everyday life. It is especially fun to have around the holidays as a festive accent. We love our Fairy and are so grateful for all that she does for us!
In December of 2022, Beth and renowned local artist, Christie Younger, came together and created "Angel of Hope", an organization that seeks to meet the needs of underprivileged children and families in our community. Christie Younger hand paints each and every "Angel of Hope" print. All of the profits from the sale of these paintings help to ensure that the basic needs of children living in impoverished situations in Wilkes County are met. Fruit of the Vine Boutique is honored to be so closely intertwined with Angel of Hope. As a drop point for donations (like non-perishable foods, clothings, etc.), we are always so moved to see our customers and fellow community members rally around this important cause and work together to meet these needs. The Lord has blessed each and every effort and we are so grateful! We will continue to love and serve this community, spreading the love of Christ with every breath that we are able!
In February of this year, we were so blessed to host our first ever Women's Bible Study right here in the shop. When planning our 2023 calendar, Beth and I sat down to discuss how we could make our faith the biggest thing about us. Our faith is the driving force behind everything we do and we wanted it to be tangible to our customers. We knew we wanted to do a Bible study, but weren't sure where to start, so we began to pray and planned to circle back. Beth gifted me "Don't Miss Out: Daring to Believe Life is Better with the Holy Spirit" by Jeannie Cunnion for Christmas, and by the second chapter, I knew we had found our study book! The Lord aligned my and Beth's hearts from the start, and He had His hand on every step. Through the study, we built meaningful relationships with our ladies in person and online, dug into the Word, worshipped together, prayed together, and most importantly, grew in the Lord together. It was so powerful and so special. Though we took the summer off, we have plans for more studies starting in the fall, so stay tuned! We can't wait to see how God uses these plans to advance His Kingdom here on earth and we are so blessed to be His vessels for that purpose!
Finally, our relationships with YOU, our wonderful Vine Shoppers, are the best of the endlessly beautiful things that Fruit of the Vine has brought into our lives. Getting to see your beautiful smiling faces, catch up on life, share in each other's burdens, pray with and for you, and simply assist you in your sopping experience is truly a joy. There is culture of sisterhood here at Fruit of the Vine that is so unique and special. This space is so much more than just a shop... by the grace of God, it is a sanctuary in the lives of so many, including us. We cannot thank God enough for how far He has brought us and look forward to BIG things in the future!
